David Muir was born in America and is an American journalist. His ABC News program World News Tonight, with David Muir has been a popular for a number of years. Alongside that the show, he is also a co-anchor of ABC News magazine 20/20. Through its animated movements and dramatic clips of celeb news, the show has grown to become the most watched newscast in America. Made In America was nominated for an Emmy. His predecessor Diane Sawyer was the anchor of ABC World News Tonight before becoming the anchor. He was the anchor for numerous primetime specials for ABC News some recent ones include Breaking Point: Heroin in America and Flashpoint: Refugees in America. His travels took him to the far regions of the globe and include Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti the Gulf of Mexico and much more. He was the winner of multiple Emmy Awards, Edward R. Murrow Awards and honors from the Associated Press.
