Hayley Orantia is American actress, musician and singer. The most famous of her roles can be Erica Goldberg who stars in 'The Goldbergs,' an American comedy show. Even though she sings however, her passion for music. Music, according her, is first thing she enjoys. She started playing with it at age nine. At the age 12, she had taken serious enough about music to start professional training. The singer-songwriter began writing songs at 13 and was 14 when she made her debut album of covers songs. From that moment on she's never been back. Orrantia was born in the USA but has Hispanic origins. Although she was raised speaking only English and never lived in Mexico she's extremely happy about her Hispanic heritage. She tries to maintain it through studying Spanish and writing songs in the Spanish language. She has recorded an Spanish version of a song called 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia tried out for The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia was selected from a YouTube video and was awarded four "yes" votes from the judge during the live audition phase at Seattle, Washington. She was originally performing as a solo artist, however after "Hollywood Week" and three other female performers were placed in a group to continue the auditions. They were eliminated during the fifth week in the live show.
